1. Open TilDawn and go to Settings → Account.
2. Tap Delete account.
3. Confirm twice: tap Continue, then Delete my account. Two steps, so a pocket-tap can never do this for you.

That’s it. Nothing to email. Deletion starts straight away, and you are signed out the moment it completes. If you signed in with Apple, we ask Apple to unlink your Apple ID first, and your sign-in is removed only after Apple confirms. If Apple doesn’t answer, try again later and it picks up where it stopped.

WHAT GETS DELETED · AND WHEN

• Your account — immediately. Your pairing ends first. Then your profile, settings, and push token are removed, and your sign-in goes last. With Sign in with Apple, that last step waits for Apple to confirm.
• Your content — with the account. The messages, photos, and voice notes you sent, your moods and answers, the time capsules you created (opened ones included), and your files are deleted.
• Shared history — 30 days, read-only, then deleted. If you were paired, shared plans, lists, notes, milestones, and key dates stay readable to your former partner until the 30-day archive closes, then they are deleted too. They can’t add to it, and they never see anything you do after you leave.
• Crash reports — on their normal schedule. Sentry receives your account ID (a random identifier, so we can match a crash to a support request). Before anything is sent, we remove message content, email addresses, sign-in tokens, invite codes, and coordinates. Reports are kept 90 days at Sentry, then purged (see Privacy → How long we keep it).
• Subscriptions — not automatic. Deleting your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription. Cancel it with Apple or Google first, or it will renew.

Write to hello@tildawn.app from the email address on your account with the subject “Delete my TilDawn account”. We confirm it’s you, delete the account, and reply when it’s done — within 30 days, usually within a few. The same partner-side 30-day rule applies.

• Take your data with you first. Settings → Export your data builds one JSON file with your profile, the messages you sent, your moods and answers, and your shared space’s plans, lists, and history, and emails you a download link that works for 7 days.
• Leave the relationship, keep the account. Settings → Account → End pairing. Your account stays; the pairing ends, and what you shared stays readable to both of you for 30 days.
